Piala Dunia 2014 dan Ramadan 1435H

Piala Dunia kali ni kebetulan jatuh bulan Ramadhan. Bulan puasa. Pendekkan cerita, kesudahan edisi kali ni amat menggembirakan. Jerman juara beb, selepas 3 kali berturut2 gagal last minit. Banyak rekod dipecahkan pagi tu. Menang besar lawan tuan rumah beb, Brazil pula tu. 'Raja' bolasepak dunia. Walupun dibantu persembahan di bawah par Brazil, namun ia tetap kenangan manis, tambahan pula Miroslav Klose pecahkan rekod gol Ronaldo dengan gol Piala Dunia ke 16 nya untuk menjadikan kedudukan 2-0 buat seketika. Habis separuh akhir, dub dab dub dab menunggu Argentina di Final. Ye la, meminjam kata Toni Kroos, "World Cups are not won in semi finals". Lepas 24 tahun sejak last julang World Cup. Tahniah buat Philipp Lahm and co dan coach Joachim 'Jogi' Loew. Selaku peminat Jerman sejak 1986, sejak zaman Jerman Barat, zaman Rummenigge and co lagi, aku puas. Jerman sekarang bukan lagi seperti Jerman dahulu yang kurang popular. Jerman sekarang dah ramai peminat, main dah best bukan boring. Danke, Jungs!

Disember 2012 - Entri Nombor Wahid.

Ini entri tanpa gambar. Mungkin lepas ni aku tambah gambar hiasan. Tapi kemungkinan besar tak.

Sekarang admin ICT tempat aku kerja dah allow balik blogspot. SO, ini lah aku, mencelah di samping kerja me'revise' memo.

SATU
aku nak cakap pasal Palestin. Gaza.

DUA
Malaysia masuk Piala AFF Suzuki. Harimau Malaya. Kalah semi-final. Bungkus kena lauk dengan si Gajah Perang, Thailand. Sokong tetap sokong. Dah aku rakyat Malaysia. Tapi frust tetap frust sebab player Kelantan tak dipanggil wakil Malaysia kecuali 2,3 orang.

Bicara Oktober 2012

salam to all, (cheh bunyi macam nak send email on work related stuff plak)

Ya la, tapi kalu betul bulan puasa betul la boleh kurus pahal puasa, so to speak.

So many things happened. Jerman dah kalah kat semi-final Euro 2012. Frust tak payah cerita lah. Nasib baik, Kelantan The Red Warriors menang Malaysian Super League dan juga Piala FA. Heppy la jugak.

Raya? Tahun ni Raya Puasa kitorang balik ikut Tganu. Lalu LPT n Bukit Besi, susur Kuala Berang, Sg Tong, pastu err. tak ingat.. lalu Kuala Besut kalu tak silap, Gertak Seratus, Tok Bali dan Kandis.. Cuti Raya agak panjang tapi macam biasa, holiday is never long enough. Tuk Pa dah agak uzur, TukMa masih cergas namun biasa la, dah berumur takde la macam orang muda. Tuk Ayah dan TukMa masih menten namun jelas usia makin memamah sisa kehidupan mereka. Bila la kerajaan nak wujudkan polisi menggalakkan majikan mempostingkan (apa sinonim bahasa Melayu nya eh?) pekerja di negeri asal, atau negeri di mana ibubapa mereka tinggal. Boleh ker macam tu?

Kerja? Alhamdulillah banyak projek komited utk tahun ni dah siap sebelum raya. Tinggal satu jer tak siap-siap.. Pressure dah kurang, tapi aku still rasa aku tak sesuai buat kerja ni.

England 1 Germany 4

Well it's a little out-of-date but still any win over England is worth mentioning.

The game was obviously marred by that Lampard 'goal' incident. I do agree that should the goal been given and the score tied at 2-2 coming to the break, the game might develop differently. However it's all 'mights' and 'ifs'. No one will ever know the outcome. Not me not you.
Otherwise it was a good game from Germany's POV. 2 well taken goals from Klose and Poldi, and 2 well executed counter attack finish by Muller. What a vintage performance.
Regardless of the outcome of this coming Argentina game, the world has now acknowledged this young German team.

Germany 0 Serbia 1

I am frustrated. Utterly frustrated.
With all due credit to Serbia, for me Germany self-destruct. Even though Miroslav Klose was sent-off for double yellow, the game was controlled by the Germans. It was Germany who created more chances and dictate the tempo of play. Having done that with only 10-men was quite an achievement. Sadly, at the end of the day, result is everything. It was Serbia who score a goal while Germany failed to convert any of those chances.
Poor Podolski, it was easy to blame him for that penalty miss and all those wasted chances. Well, like he said in a post match interview (with a smile).. " I am usually a secure penalty-taker. One day you are the hero, the next, you are an idiot." The Serbia  game was history. Let just focus on Ghana. Hopefully this 24th Lukas will still be smiling :)..

Bayern Munich 0 Inter Milan 2

Well, as a fan of German football I am quite frustrated, yes.. but that's football. Actually I did missed the live telecast so the frustration is somewhat lessened. No ashamed in losing to a better side anyway. Better by means of a more balanced team in term of footballing sense.
Bayern might have a more positive approach, more attacking minded than their Italian counterpart but to be fair, football is not just about attacking. Inter was very brilliant, very determined and focused in defense, just like what they did aganst Barca, an unarguably better attacking team than Bayern is. Ironically, (Diego) Milito also showed what is always regarded as a 'German' virtue: efficiency at the very best. He got 2 shots on goal, 2 being on target, which  resulted in yes, 2 goals.
In the end, congrats and hats-off to Inter. Deserved winner and a worthy champion. Bayern, on the other hand, did not have to be too disappointed with the result. They won the 1.BL & the Pokal  and  the runners-up of the CL and that is quite an achievement.

World Cup is next.

// An interesting fact is that Inter, being an Italian champion, featured no Italian in their 1st team of CL Final. Bayern, as a comparison, have five German internationals starting.

Germany 0 Argentina 1

if it was a knock-out phase in a major tournament, i'd be close to crying now.. hahahaa.. but it's a friendly.. but a friendly vs a traditional powerhouse like argentina is always better than others.

first, the goal. Adler was helpless. He was right in coming out, the prob is if he decided that he must certain to get the ball. He missed that, n it was on the mercy of Higuain. Credit also to Higuain tho. Some players will still miss from that distance.

Defense is ok. Mertesacker is slowly cemented his place in that CB position. Tasci looks slightly improved, tho his clumsiness in NT jersey still showed at times. J. Boateng? he's not that bad, just that RB is clearly not his best position. he's doing ok but there are certainly someone(s) who's better than him?

It was an even battle in midfield. Ozil doesnt looked his best tho. Similar to his club form, i guess. Mueller doing ok in his debut. Kroos did not have that much time but i think he deserve more chances. Ballack looked sluggish at times quite ironic as his performance at Chelsea has been considerably good. He missed one decent chance when he misplaced his header, of which i think he could have instead used his foot, considering time n space that he had. Podolski proved that he provides good attacking options on the left side. i would like to see Jansen there but it did not happen.

Attack - Klose and Gomez just doing ok for their standard but Cacau definitely showed some determination. The Argentine defense certainly managed to put enough pressure to keep them at bay most of the time. Something for Loew to ponder to, maybe.

all in all i think it's a fair result. finished 0-1, i think the game could have gone either way. limited chances for both teams, however i think Argentina got the better ones. Germany needs to exert more pressure to Argentine defense (or any other defense in future) and create more chances.

Laos 1 Malaysia 3

Congratulation boys. Credit is when a credits is due. The scoreline was quite flattering since the truth is Malaysia struggled for most of the time after the 1-0 lead and only resorted to a few counter attacks but well maybe it's the coach tactic. The counters were quite dangerous tho, the ideas and vision were brilliant at times if only the finishing touch were better.

One of the main concern is that the players more often than not, chose to do it the hard way when it comes to passing the ball around. Instead of passing to a teammate who is free, they chose to dribble excessively, or try to pass to someone who is being tightly man-marked. Well, it may just be the tactic but believe me the tactics has succeeded in getting me screaming in front of the tv.

Another thing to look upon could be the fitness factor. During the period of 1-hour mark to the 2nd goal, players loked as if, as a Kelantanese would put it, 'Habis gas'. It is only after Badrol Bakhtiar's 2nd goal that the boys seemed to regain their fitness and suddenly sprang to some more action. Before that, they were constantly under pressure from the Laotians wave of attacks of which they eventually scored. Again, it may just be a tactic :).

Football is a team effort but last night I feel that some players need mentioning. Badrol Bakhtiar, of course for scoring a brace, but it was the tenacious Nor Shahrul who provides those runs, who kept the Laotian defense busy with his moments of brilliance and industrious effort. Ahmad Sharbinee also proved to be the better choice for the No 1 spot, bar the solitary goal he has proved his worth between the posts.

Lastly, a win in semi-final is only just as good as a win. Any win is good. However this is only semi-final and nobody can be a champion by winning a semi-final. It is the final that is more important. Vietnam is no pushover. They beat us 3-1 at group stage and soundly crushed Singapore 4-1 in the other semi-final match. They are the team to beat, we are no favorite this time. Having said that, I also believe we have more skill, more tricks up our sleeves than the Vietnamese, whereas they have better stamina and higher work rate. If we can improve on those areas then I believe we have a fair chance of ending the 20-years drought of a SEA games gold.

Kelantan 1 Negeri Sembilan 3

Perah kawe perah...

(tapi kalu tahun ke2 dah menang lagi best).

GO MORE KLATE GO MORE! (modified version of the Red Warriors' battle cry GOMO KLATE GOMO!)

FIFA U-17 WC : Germany 3 Switzerland 4 (aet)

Frust.

Kalah lagi. Nasib baik aku x bangun pagi tadi layan. Kalu x lagi la frust rasanya. Champion of Europe out of the tournament, bowing out to a European team. Huh.

Begini lah nasib penyokong bola Jerman. Apa2 jer game yg ada waima peringkat umur budak2 pun aku ambik tahu. Susah kan nak keluar kat TV kita.

I guess now have to concentrate on the international friendlies n CL/Europa League jer la..

CL hari tu pun Bayern kalah 0-2 kat tempat sendiri. Apa nk jadi la Bayern oii..

FIFA U-17 WC

Germany 3-3  Nigeria
Leading 3-0 only to be levelled 3-3. huh!

Germany 1-2 Argentina
Also leading 1-0 at 8', only to be scored against 2 times in a space of 2 minutes!!

So un-German (in a footballing way).

I don't know. These boys looks to have enough skills n capability. With due respect to Nigeria n Argentina, both results should be better.
Now have to hope Argentina beats Nigeria n Germany can win vs Honduras with a big margin.

Germany 2 South Africa 0

International Friendly @ 05/09/2009 @ BayArena, Leverkusen.

1st eleven:

GK: Rene Adler

DF: Phillip Lahm, Arne Friedrich, Serdar Tasci, Marcel Schafer

MF: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Michael Ballack, Mesut Ozil, Simon Rolfes, Marko Marin

FW: Mario Gomez

Germany deployed a loose 4-2-3-1, with the home club custodian Rene Adler between the post.

Ballack pairing up with Rolfes in DM position, alternatingly exchanging position in attacking mode, with Ballack acted more as a box-to-box midfielder while Rolfes doing most of the defensive works.

Schweini and Marin works from both flanks, occasionally cutting inside. Ozil was theoretically an attacking midfielder but in fact he played as a deep-laying forward, occasionally moving forward to assist Gomez upfront whenever Germany was attacking.

Bayer Leverkusen 0 Werder Bremen 1

missed most of the game. only switched it on when it's already on 87th min.!

the result is a lil' bit contrary to what was expected, which is an entertaining final with lots of goals, considering the reputation of both teams who likes to attack at the the expense of their somewhat porous defence.

oh well.. from Bremen's positive POV, it surely cannot make up for the loss in UEFA Cup final but certainly it eased some pain.

it's also a good way to bid farewell to for Frank Baumann's last professional game as a player. At least he ends his career with a trophy.

n also good farewell game for Diego as well.

Tahniah Wolfsburg.. Bremen? Leverkusen?

x abis lagi frust Bremen kalah final uefa cup... huhuhuuu btw Wolfsburg dah menang Bundesliga. after demolishing Bremen 5-1. Without denying Wolfsburg quality, Bremen was playing like their hearts were already somewhere else. Hopefully they will get their act together for the Final of DFB Pokal (German Cup) this 30/05, of which i'm still undecided whether to support Bremen or Leverkusen.

apa2 pun, kita nyanyi lagu ni dulu.. huhuhuu

Di Waktu Malam Bulan Mengambang..
Sunyi Damai hai Damai Sekeliling Ku..
Terdengar Nan Sayu Bintang Seribu..
Mumbujuk Rayu Kerna Merindu..
Lagu Yang Dulu..

Di Waktu Malam Bulan Purnama..
Angin Laut Meniup Niup Tenang..
Mengatakan Sayang..Berlagu Merdu..
Bermadah Sayu Lemah Mendayu..
Nak Dara Rindu..

Tanjung Katong Airnya Biru..
Tempat Mandi Nak Dara Jelita..
Sama Sekampung hai Sedang Dirindu..
Inikan Lagi Jauh Dimata..

Hamburg 2 Werder Bremen 3

http://www.soccer24-7.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3243420#post3243420

Very good comeback from Bremen. n the 3rd goal came from of all players, Frank Baumann!. Feel happy for him, captaining his side to a major European final. Ilic's second goal added a lil' drama, but Bremen hold on. IMHO he (Ilic) did not deserve to be on the losing side.

Hope Bremen can do well in the Final cause frankly i trust Hamburg more with a non-BL team. But hey, if they can ousted a relatively superior AC Milan (in a quite stylish way, really), of course they can.
