England 1 Germany 4

Well it's a little out-of-date but still any win over England is worth mentioning.

The game was obviously marred by that Lampard 'goal' incident. I do agree that should the goal been given and the score tied at 2-2 coming to the break, the game might develop differently. However it's all 'mights' and 'ifs'. No one will ever know the outcome. Not me not you.
Otherwise it was a good game from Germany's POV. 2 well taken goals from Klose and Poldi, and 2 well executed counter attack finish by Muller. What a vintage performance.
Regardless of the outcome of this coming Argentina game, the world has now acknowledged this young German team.

Germany 0 Serbia 1

I am frustrated. Utterly frustrated.
With all due credit to Serbia, for me Germany self-destruct. Even though Miroslav Klose was sent-off for double yellow, the game was controlled by the Germans. It was Germany who created more chances and dictate the tempo of play. Having done that with only 10-men was quite an achievement. Sadly, at the end of the day, result is everything. It was Serbia who score a goal while Germany failed to convert any of those chances.
Poor Podolski, it was easy to blame him for that penalty miss and all those wasted chances. Well, like he said in a post match interview (with a smile).. " I am usually a secure penalty-taker. One day you are the hero, the next, you are an idiot." The Serbia  game was history. Let just focus on Ghana. Hopefully this 24th Lukas will still be smiling :)..

Germany 4 Australia 0

1. good attacking performance. need to convert more of those chances.
2. glad to see Klose scores. what a relief for him.
3. Oezil was superb, need to sharpen his finishing touch tho.
4. defense was not really tested.
5. some questionable ref decision marred the otherwise good game.
6. Australia did help Germany looks better.
7. looking forward for the Serbia game, cautiously.
8. have not been convinced just yet, but still hopefuls.

Ustaz Pahrol @ Motivasi Pagi IKIM.fm 11/06/2010

Ingat mati.
Ingat mati bukan suatu yang negatif. Ingat mati bukan bermakna hidup berdukacita.

Ingat mati, membuat kita:

Ustaz Pahrol @ Motivasi Pagi @ IKIM.fm 08/06/2010

(Entry bukan sebijik ayat Ustaz Pahrol, cuma diulang cerita mengikut pemahaman dan ingatan Yushida03 yang terbatas.)

Doa.

Ustaz kata.. berdoa lah.

Amin.

Stress mode

In stress mode. Has to be patient, extra patient. Others may fare worse condition than us. It's just a test from Allah. We must accept that not only good things come from Him, the bad also will not happen if not under His power. We are only His creatures, His servant. We must obey and persevere and seek forgiveness from Him.

Bayern Munich 0 Inter Milan 2

Well, as a fan of German football I am quite frustrated, yes.. but that's football. Actually I did missed the live telecast so the frustration is somewhat lessened. No ashamed in losing to a better side anyway. Better by means of a more balanced team in term of footballing sense.
Bayern might have a more positive approach, more attacking minded than their Italian counterpart but to be fair, football is not just about attacking. Inter was very brilliant, very determined and focused in defense, just like what they did aganst Barca, an unarguably better attacking team than Bayern is. Ironically, (Diego) Milito also showed what is always regarded as a 'German' virtue: efficiency at the very best. He got 2 shots on goal, 2 being on target, which  resulted in yes, 2 goals.
In the end, congrats and hats-off to Inter. Deserved winner and a worthy champion. Bayern, on the other hand, did not have to be too disappointed with the result. They won the 1.BL & the Pokal  and  the runners-up of the CL and that is quite an achievement.

World Cup is next.

// An interesting fact is that Inter, being an Italian champion, featured no Italian in their 1st team of CL Final. Bayern, as a comparison, have five German internationals starting.
