chinese new year
2 days leave + 1 day replacement of public holiday = almost a week at Kelantan. Still didn't have the time to go for a walk at Irama beach, Bachok. How I miss the sultry sea breeze and the wonderful aroma (and taste) of 'lokcheng' sold by hawkers on pedals.
But at least I can spend some time with beloved parents, moreover with declining health of both of them each in their own way making me cherish and treasure every moment I can be there for them. They are not getting any younger (we all do), yet all of their children are staying hundreds of kilometers away from them.. Hmm..
Husna also seemed to enjoy her time with her Tuk Ayah and Tuk Ma. Asma'? Well she does not understand yet. All she knows is to get feed when she's hungry..:).. My sincere prayer to Allah for Tuk Ayah and Tuk Ma to stay healthy .. and watch Husna and Asma' grow up.. and plus their future adik-adik too :D..

Office & claims
The clerk insisted that the technicians cannot claim individual daily mileage to site, if they already claimed outstation allowance, claiming that it is a punishable offense if got caught by audit department.
My stand -: I ignore him n keep on signing their claim form.
Now the clerk won't talk to me anymore.
I feel guilty. But, am I guilty?

Traffic jam and new year blues..
No more school holidays. No more getting out to work at 7am, or even 7.15.. It's traffic jam all over again.. 6.30am n u have to be ready..
There is Monday blues.. n there is New Year Blues.. Accustomed to relatively easy feeling during schooldays.. well, we only share the cuti with schools for a few days, but the feeling is everywhere. No traffic jam, less people at office.. I love Decembers.. but now, December is gone.. huhuhuu..

Taiping. 25-27/12/2009.
Lake Town morning 26/12
Malaysia's wettest town. Our own version of Forks, if u are a Twillight fan. Stayed at BIL's house nearby the Laketown area, very near to the MRSM Taiping.
Spent some quality time there with inlaws n nieces. Got a taste of bakso at Taiping bus station. Very delicious indeed. No Doli this time.
All in all, very good outing for family though it was rather ad-hoc planned.
// next trip to be pre-planned. Doli n mee udang Kuala Sepetang to be on the itenary. Plus the zoo.
