Pesta Buku 2009
Salam.
Untuk pertama kalinya sejak 2005, aku kembali ke Pesta Buku. Mula2 takut gak sbb x penah pegi by myself. Ok la, DW ikut gak, tp dia mmg lagi buta KL drpd aku. Lepas bfast kat Arafah @ ~9am, terus ke KL.
Sampai sana dlm 10am++.Ikut kata PokCik, parking kat Hentian Putra, so there we go. Dapat la parking tingkat atas sekali. Eh, senang la pulak. Aku ni kdg2, takut x tentu pasal.
Ramai gak orang esp budak2 sekolah. Huh, bersesak2. Round punya round beli la buku2 ni:
1) Tuhan Manusia - FT
2) Bedar Sukma Bisu - FT
3) Aku Terima Nikahnya - Ust. Hasrizal
4) Bercinta Sampai Syurga - Ust. Hasrizal
5) Harry Potter Buku 4,5,6,7 - JK Rowling
Rugi lak dah beli Ayat2 Cinta bulan lepas. Kalu x, bole diskaun beli kat Pesta Buku ni. Tp masa tu mana tau nak dtg Pesta Buku kan.. Hmmm
Kesemua dlm RM180 kot. ?? (kena check resit ni). Tp less than RM200 lah. Buku2 Harry P cost the most = RM114 tp quite a bargain la since before discount the total 4 books is about rm140. (Aku ni kan, kdg2 jiwa budak2 gak. Baca Harry Potter tu hahaha..) DW x beli apa2 buku (She's not a keen reader pun) tp dia beli cenderahati yg gerak2 pakai solar power tu. Letak kat dashbod keta. Cantik gak.
Tak lama mana pun duk sana. Dlm 12.30pm kitorg cabut, since org dah makin ramai dan perut dah start berbunyi balik :). Berpusing2 gak nk keluar dr KL, tp alhamdulillah, jumpa jalan. Lucnh kat Vicchuda Kota Damansara pastu terus balik SB dan zzzzzz......

Bayern 1 Barca 1
It was clear enough. Bayern is only as good as among only 8 best in the Europe. Nowhere to be the best. Something drastic must be taken into action in order to be a serious contender for CL next season:
1) Get a decent RB. There is strong rumors that Zhirkov (Russia's international LB) is coming to Munich. A few Bayern supporters have come up with the suggestion that Lahm to be moved as RB n put Zhirkov as the main LB. Me however, do not like the idea of moving Lahm of his usual position to cater for Zhirkov. i'd prefer maintain Lahm at LB n get a decent RB. Tho having said that, if the news of Zhirkov is true, than it is good for Bayern as he is a world-class LB. The issue here is how to accomodate both?
2) Get a very good DM, or a CM who is very good defensively. It is confirmed that Tymoschuk is coming so i guess the problem is resolved.
3) A good CB to pair up Lucio, preferably a German. V. Buyten is not as good n Demichelis is not a proper CB. Breno? very young n limited talent anyway.
4) Find a way to motivate Schweinsteiger to play good on regular basis. This kid is a potential world-class n yet painstakingly inconsistent.
5) Find a way to quick-nurture Rensing, or else get a better GK. Jorg-Butt is ok for now, but he also has this inconsistency syndrome. Excellent in one game n disastrous in the next. Very risky. I think with a proper coaching, Rensing can make it. He has good reflexes, yet struggles with positioning n corners/crosses.
6) Keep a coach for a longer period. Bayern has this record of always blaming it on the coach, resulting in the sacking. Without denying that he is also hugely responsible, stability is one of the key to success.

Barca 4 Bayern 0
Well, i'm not a Bayern fan in particular as i'd prefer Bremen n Leverkusen more, however as a German football fan in general i feel pity for them.
The 12-1 aggregate win over Sporting Lisbon seem like a distant memory as Barca strolled past them. A deserved victory for Barca. A credit is when a credit due. Bayern looked lost. It is made worse losing Lahm, Lucio n Van Buyten. Tho i must admit that Lucio-V. Buyten is not the best partnership in the world, having them with Lahm, who is currently regarded as one of the world-class leftback, Messi n co should find it harder to penetrate Bayern's defence, which at times, what can i say, invisible.
1-5 vs Wolfsburg n now 0-4 vs Barca. 9 goals in two games. That's a terrible blow for Klinsmann n his boys.
With a semi-final spot virtually out of question, let's just hope they will restore some pride at the Allianz-Arena in the 2nd leg.

Germany (WC 2010 Qualifying)

Germany vs Liechtenstein:
ok. a brief comment. only based on this game in particular.
Beck - definitely good choice for RB in attacking mode. i would say better than Fritz. But his defensive ability is not tested in this game. hey, who's our 1st choice RB now? Arne is the best defensively but who else can also attack iwth ease. what about Hinkel's progress?
Tasci - at least for now not ready yet for the high level game. work hard but at times looks clumsy n nervous n against a better team that will probably mean disaster.
Jansen - looks quite comfortable in left midfield possition. i say put him there whenever he is chosen to play. no more LB for him.
Ballack - looks much more comfortable playing a more attacking role. i'd whenever possible, plays him there. he's more useful attacking not defending. (tho it also cross my mind that he would not have that much space against better teams)
Gomez - what more can i say. this guy definitely has the ability but for quite a no of games, failed to deliver for NT. maybe some of u guys are right, maybe he needs a break. dont rule him out of NT, yet. to be fair at least, Poldi also missed a few chances.
overall a good performance from Germany. Not excellent, but just good enough. clean sheet, n more than 2 goals. that's acceptable.
Wales vs Germany:
quick notes on the game:
Tasci - still didnt impress me. a potential penalty that was lucky not to be awarded at 1-0.
Beck - looked good in attack but quite vulnerable in defense. i say good choice vs a relatively weaker team.
Ballack - i dont know if its just my imagination but he looked fitter in these 2 games. maybe something to do with a somewhat free-role midfield position?
Enke - showed glimpse of what he's capable of. good no. 2 GK, if he doesnt get the no 1 spot.
Gomez - i think it's time to 'rest' him. i say dont put him out of the squad just yet, only take him out of the starting 11. he looked very gloomy at times. doesnt do him good, really. i say its a mental block n its getting worse with his failure to convert chances.
DM - we need a good candidate here. Hitz is not a proper DM, while Rolfes looked ok, but not that convincing, i must say.
In general, Germany at times, did show the 'who's the boss' attitude, which is good to show confidence (not arrogance). However there were still some mistake e.g bad passes etc.
I'll say Germany did the job, winning by 2 goals difference n keep a clean sheet. w/o really impressed. TQ.

Smoking
I've been w/o cigarette for more than a month now (at least that's what i remember that the last time i smoke was on 19/02/2009.
It all started when i got a very bad flu attack. Usually a puff of smoke will remedy a mild flu but this one did not. Furthermore the flu also been joined by its close friends cough. wow. so painful. So i decided to quit temporarily (at that time). So, 2 weeks passed n the flu has been reduce to a lil' mucus only (what we call 'hingus' lah : runny nose = hidung berlari?).
Quite surpirisingly, after my recovery, i don't feel the urge to smoke anymore. Being among circle of smoking friends also do not intimidate me. Now i wonder..
DW seems quite happy with my progress. However honestly, i could not say that i quit becoz of her, or anyone in particular. It's just that i simply lost it. Weird isnt it? Well call it weird or whatso ever, i wish that this will continue.
In short, ppl should quit smoking becoz of 3 things:
1) Religion - smoking is makruh, some even say that is haram.
2) Health - smoking can lead to serious diseases e.g a few type of cancer due to high content of narcotine n tar.
3) Money/Financial - in every national bajet, cigaratte price always go up n never went down. A box of 14's Marlboro for example, is rm5.90 now. = sepinggan nasik!
Well. Let just pray that i wont be tempted to smoke again. Enough of 16 years eating the smoke (approximate). Amin.
